Jasper County Coroner

The function of the Coroner’s office is to determine cause, manner and circumstance of death under guidelines established by the Georgia Death Investigation Act. The coroner works closely with law enforcement and the GBI medical examiner to make this determination. The coroner’s office responds 24 hours 7 days a week to all deaths that are unexpected, unexplained or unattended by a physician.
