Mission Statement
The Jasper County Public Works Department provides a variety of infrastructure-related services required for our community to function. This department also provides maintenance on county roadways and rights-of-way. This department is involved in the upkeep of paved roads and well as the construction and/or paving of dirt roads. Among those are the construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, street signs, striping for county maintained roads, mowing of county roadways, grading of dirt roads, pothole repair, drainage problems, cleaning culvert and installing culverts. We take pride in serving the public by providing, maintaining, preserving a safe and efficient county road, and quickly responding to weather events and hazards.
Please use the Request for Work To Be Done form to let us know of any repairs to the roads that need to be done. This form can be found under the Departments/Public Works menu above. Once you have selected this option you will be given the opportunity to make an electronic request by filling out the on-line form, or, you can download and print a form that you can mail in. If you ever call the public works office please leave a message and a work order will be submitted for you and you can monitor the progress on line.
