Jasper County Business Licensees

Dear Current Jasper County Business Licensee,

We are working hard to streamline and make our processes easier for our community.  In doing so, Jasper County Planning and Zoning Department is moving to GeoPermits for licensing and online permitting.  This will allow you to apply for a new or renewal of an existing business license online.

Please take a minute to register in GeoPermits with your existing 2023 Business License in GeoPermits, or https://permitting.schneidergis.com/jurisdiction/d9f1e3d1-d917-4b42-ae14-16fd72bd63ff . This will be a simple process (only a few questions) to get you in the system in-time for a 60 day reminder to renew your business license for 2024. There is no additional fee for entering your 2023 information into GeoPermits, but it will allow us to send you an automated reminder to register for 2024.  Your 2024 renewal will include entering all the required business license information.  If you wait until after October 15th, you will still need to renew your license by registering for a 2024 Business License.

If you have questions about completing your license application, please call us at 706-468-4940 or come by the office.

Thank you!

Jasper County Joint Comprehensive Plan Update

Background on Comprehensive Plans

UPDATE: THE DEADLINE TO COMPLETE THE SURVEY IS JANUARY 16, 2023

A comprehensive plan is a locally adopted document that serves as a long-term guide to growth and development for the local government to use and implement. The document is required by the State of Georgia for all local governments and must be updated every five (5) years.

The purpose of the plan is to analyze where you are now as a community, where you are going, to develop ideas for where you want to be, and create strategies for how to get you there.

There are various topics addressed within a comprehensive plan including, but not limited to, community needs and opportunities, community goals, land-use, broadband internet, transportation, and a list of community work items.
